Locum Lawyer

With over 50 years of experience as a general practitioner in suburban Auckland, I operated in sole practice for 30 years and served as a partner and director for 17 years.

Throughout these periods, I employed up to 18 professional and support staff.

My reputation is for client service, practice development and technology innovation.

I am a Trust Account Partner and Landonline Conveyancing Professional holding a current practising certificate.

While I have employed litigation lawyers and worked alongside litigation partners, my personal practice focuses entirely on non-contentious commercial, property, and conveyancing matters rather than litigation.

I am available throughout New Zealand to assist you with:

  • Managing your practice while you take a planned break.
  • Advising on legal technology, systems, and practice management.
  • Assisting with short-term projects that require an extra pair of experienced hands.
  • Resolving file backlogs and complex matters requiring dedicated focus.

I am engaged as an independent contractor on a part-time basis. With no management or administrative involvement, my time is dedicated entirely to productive client work.

During the contract, I require professional indemnity cover under your firm's policy. When managing a practice, the Law Society may require my appointment as your attorney for the duration of the engagement.
